A person dies after a medical emergency causes a traffic accident, the OSP . investigates

Highland County, Ohio (WXIX) – The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the Highland County crash in which an individual died of medical causes.

According to the OSP Wilmington Post, the Wilmington Highway Patrol Dispatch Center was informed of the crash on Martinsburg Road at approximately 4:30 p.m. Saturday.

Upon arrival, first responders found 61-year-old Stephen Chilton, of Greenfield, unresponsive in the car.

Shelton was pronounced dead at the scene. Coroner’s Highland County office has determined that Shelton died of medical causes.

The incident is under investigation by the OSP Wilmington Post.
