Best Community Theater Company (Unpaid Cast and Production) 2022 | St. Petersburg City Theater | art

The community recently lost a bright light. Dirk Armstrong worked for many years as an assistant curator at the Dalí Museum. He brought my father, Glenn Stevenson, over the years for art treatment and framing. Armstrong spent his life working in art curation, archiving, conservation, installation and transportation of special works. He also gave a great lecture on preparatory work…not always the most compelling topic for the general public. When he wasn’t handling the surreal masterpieces, he was funny, smart and super knowledgeable about music and books. I was lucky enough to work with Dirk as art handler in his team in recent years. As a coach I have learned so much. I wish I had gotten to know more. He passed away unexpectedly in the spring.
