Body of missing station worker Tea Wright-Finger, 19, found in northwest Queensland

Queensland Police have found the body of missing 19-year-old Tea Wright-Finger.

Search teams made the discovery Thursday morning in bushland near Richmond, about 600 meters from where the vehicle they were using was located by a monster helicopter on Wednesday.

In a statement, police said the death was not being treated as suspicious and a report would be prepared for the coroner.

The young station worker went missing on Oct. 16 after friends dropped her off at a Toyota Prado outside of Richmond.

Her disappearance sparked a major land and air search in the area.

Police said they had spoken to Mrs Wright-Finger’s family and sent their deepest condolences to her loved ones.

Investigators thanked the National Emergency Service, property owners and the community for their help during the search.
