Jesus Ferreira scored twice and FC Dallas managed to win 3-1 against the Los Angeles Galaxy on Saturday.
Ferrera gave Dallas (6-1-4) an early lead with a goal in the 11th minute. Paul Areola increased the difference to 2-0 with a goal in the 20th minute, and Ferreira added his ninth goal, leading the MLS after just three minutes.
The win saw Dallas finish second in the Western Conference, one point behind LAFC.
Douglas Costa scored in the 67th minute for Galaxy (6-4-1), who started the day in the third-place match with Dallas.
The Galaxy outperformed Dallas 14-7.
Jimmy Maurer saved four of his five hits for Dallas. Jonathan Bond saved one of the four shots he faced for the galaxy.
