Another WA family is in mourning — and another teenage driver is under investigation — after a crash in the Goldfields left an 18 year-old girl dead.
Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating the crash, which occurred near the abandoned mining town of Feysville on Saturday afternoon.
A Toyota Prado that was travelling south on an unsealed track near Hannan Lake when it rolled, leaving an 18-year-old female passenger with unsurvivable injures.
The 17-year-old male driver of the vehicle was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries.
It is the third fatal crash involving a teenage driver on WA roads in a month.
Last weekend, Dale Martin and his friend Ryleigh Land, both 17, died when the ute Mr Martin was driving left the South Western Highway in Wagerup and rolled.
And in late May, a 15-year-old girl died after a car being driven by a 17 year-old boy was in a head-on crash on Gingin Brook Road.
Investigators would like to speak to anyone that saw the Feysville crash or the Prado prior to the crash.
