Government opens hundreds of new job centers – West Midlands full list

The government has opened 18 new temporary employment centers across the West Midlands in a bid to get more unemployed people into work. The new centers are part of 194 centers being offered across the country – 150 of which are now open.

Work and pensions Secretary of State, Therese Coffey, said: “We know how beneficial it is for people to get into work – both financially and for their well-being. From getting any job first, they can get a better job afterwards and then advance to a career.

“Job centers and youth centers are critical to attracting people to work, and will help raise the bar for opportunities across the country. Through our ‘Road to Work’ campaign, we invite employers wherever they are to work with us and help find a job for 500,000 people. by the end of June.”
