Eddie Deezenknown for playing Eugene Felsnic in “Grease,” has been found ineligible to stand trial for alleged burglary at a nursing home.
The warrant, obtained by TMZ, shows that Deezen is unable to face trial for a mental illness, and he has been transferred to the Maryland Department of Health for treatment.
According to the document, he is considered a danger to himself and others around him. Deezen will have no choice but to remain under the care of the health department until the court determines he no longer poses a threat.
As we reported, the police say Deezen pushed his way to a private nursing home in April, which refused to leave after a woman told him to climb — but police showed up and dragged him away handcuffed.
The alleged victim told police Eddie had been to her home several times and claimed he usually left items with accompanying notes behind.
A neighbor’s security camera a few doors away showed Deezen also approaching their property that night and reportedly trying to open the front door.
He was originally charged with fourth-degree burglary, 2 counts of trespassing and one count of disturbing the peace – however, the latest documents show prosecutors changed the charge to assault and disorderly conduct.
