  • The Jan. 6 committee suddenly announced an addition to its June roster of hearings.
  • The panel announced it will meet to present ‘recently obtained evidence’ and hear witnesses.

The House committee investigating the attack on the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, will hold a hearing Tuesday to present “recently obtained evidence and receive witness testimony,” according to a surprise announcement Monday.
