Jessie Ashworth: Bunbury detectives looking for man wanted for questioning over gun crimes, assault

Bunbury detectives are looking for a 29-year-old man wanted for questioning in connection with serious crimes, including firearms offenses and assault.

Police have warned the public not to approach Jessie Ashworth, 29, who is believed to be “able to assist with a number of ongoing investigations”.

These include firearms offenses and aggravated assault in Eaton on August 8.

Court records show that Mr Ashworth has issued a warrant for his arrest after failing to appear before the Bunbury Magistrates Court on 3 November on charges including violating a suspended prison sentence.

His other charges include lack of license to drive, possession of illegal or stolen property, and unauthorized possession of police clothing.

Mr Ashworth is known to frequent Mandurah and Bunbury.
