Joey Ryan Fired From Disneyland’s ‘Jungle Cruise’ Ride

Joey Ryan landed himself in hot waters during the #SpeakingOut movement in 2020. Ryan got called out over a number of sexual misconduct allegations that cost him his wrestling career. He is unemployed once again.

According to the Los Angeles TimesRyan was fired from Disneyland after his superiors got the wind of sexual misconduct allegations. For those not in the know, Ryan was working as a handler on the Jungle Cruise attraction before he got fired.

Disney stated they do background checks on all employees, but missed Ryan’s allegations due to them being made against his stage name. Ryan’s real name is Joseph Ryan Meehan.

“Mr. Meehan is no longer employed by us.”

The 42-year-old had appeared in numerous wrestling promotions including WWE, ROH, and NWA. Then he couldn’t get work after so many people came out against him. Ryan’s attorney stated that Ryan is currently in the middle of an ongoing Federal case.
