Lala Kent claimed ex Randall Emmett “tacked” and pushed her to the ground when she confronted him for cheating on her in October 2021.
The “Vanderpump Rules” alum claims the alleged attack happened when she tried to reach for his phone to look at the contents, Kent told the Los Angeles Times in a disclosure published Thursday.
“He ran after me, grabbed me and knocked me to the ground,” the 31-year-old reality star claimed. “I used all my strength to get him off me as he tried to pry it out of my hands.”
The Bravo personality added: “Then I was sure he was hiding a lot.”
The outlet noted that five people confirmed that Kent had told them about the tackle.
Emmett, who was also charged with fraud and proposing people for sex in the piece, denied that a physical fight had taken place. His team also denied the other allegations.
“These allegations are false and are part of a now-publicized smear campaign mounted by Randall’s ex-fiancée to influence their custody dispute,” Emmett’s representative, Sallie Hofmeister, told the Times. “Lala Kent has lied and manipulated others in her desperate bid to gain full custody of her daughter, keep her name in the press and stay relevant in reality television.”
The 51-year-old filmmaker’s team gave the publication a statement from longtime nanny Isabelle Morales, who claimed neither of them was “on the scene” during the incident.
“I saw Randall and Lala arguing over his phone,” Morales said. “The only physical interaction I saw was Randall taking his phone back from Lala.”
Kent, who shares 1-year-old daughter Ocean with her ex-fiancé, has previously described the fallout from their split, claiming that Emmett didn’t let her leave the house with their toddler for 12 days.
“He would threaten to call the police if I didn’t bring her back, and he would give me periods of time that I could take her,” she told Jeff Lewis in May.
“I don’t think he knew I was leaving,” she said of the “horrific” experience. “I think he needed to regain control of me.”
Emmett also denied her claims about SiriusXM’s “Jeff Lewis Live,” while his rep told us, “These claims are completely made up, and it’s disappointing that Lala continues to make up stories eight months after their breakup.”
The former couple met in 2015 when the producer split from his now ex-wife, Ambir Childers, with whom he shares daughters London and Rylee.
Emmett proposed to Kent in 2018, and the duo postponed their wedding during the coronavirus pandemic before calling off the engagement.
