Sounds like no one is more surprised that Lori Loughlin went to jail than her former one Full room co-star Dave Coulier. He recently revealed how he felt when he learned about her involvement, along with husband Mossimo Giannulli, in the university’s admissions scandal.
“If at the beginning of… full house, “Who’s the only person who ends up going to jail?” Lori was last on the list,” Coulier told E! News. He doesn’t criticize the former Hallmark star; he just explains the whole situation from his perspective since he’s known her for over three decades. The actor who played Uncle Joey in the long-running series calls it a “strange twist” and has a lot of love for her. “Lori is my best friend in life,” he added. “We make each other laugh really hard through the hard times and the good times.”

Loughlin’s sitcom family gathered around her after she was arrested and convicted of committing fraud after paying $500,000 to Rick Singer’s mastermind to get daughters Bella and Olivia Jade to the University of Southern California. Coulier argued that the 57-year-old actress is a “great person” and that critics should reserve their judgment because Loughlin has not shared her side of the saga. “There’s a lot of untold stories behind it that I don’t think many people know,” he explained, “We all make mistakes.”

Coulier isn’t alone in publicly supporting Loughlin, the late Bob Saget has remained steadfast in his love for her, as has Candace Cameron Bure telling the 2019 Kids Choice Awards audience, “A loving family stays together no matter what.” That’s exactly how the Full room clan continued to stand by Loughlin’s side – recognizing her wrong ways, but still restraining her at every step.
