The mother of a young son died in a horror crash in Perth’s eastern suburbs on Friday night.
The 22-year-old woman was reportedly walking to the shops in Midvale at around 10:35pm when she was hit by a black BMW at the intersection of Farrall and Morrison roads.
According to reports, her grandmother had been watching the woman’s two-year-old boy and became concerned when she did not return within an hour.
The woman’s best friend later revealed that he drove past the crash site, unaware that she was involved in the incident.
Ambulances arrived at the scene, but the woman had already died of her injuries.

The 32-year-old driver was not injured in the accident. Police have not yet announced whether she stopped after the alleged crash.
The woman’s friend said he had been asked to identify the body.
