Newsroom – American Airlines will take college football fans into the final district with more flights and seats this fall

FORT WORTH, Texas — American Airlines is raising the penalty flag on connected flights this fall by adding nearly 70 non-stop flights to some of college football’s most popular games. The world’s largest airline will also add more seats to destinations throughout the season, connecting more fans to their favorite teams on match day. American currently serves more college towns than any other American airline.

“American is making it easier for college football fans to transition from the gate to the network this fall,” said Jason Reisinger, US general manager of global network planning. “With new non-stop flights and more seats, we’re helping fans see the action in person. The US team is ready for game day with the smallest fleet of any US network carrier and service second to none.”
