Lake level plateaus
It appears Okanagan Lake levels have started to plateau.
As of Sunday, Okanagan Lake sat at 342.628 metres.
As of Monday at 11:25 a.m. the lake level dropped one millimetre to 342.627 metres.
The lake remains above full pool (342.48 metres).
Data from the BC River forecast Centre predicts inflows into Okanagan Lake are expected to continue to taper off.
According to Environment Canada, rain is in the forecast for Tuesday but it likely won’t be enough to substantially impact water levels.
Debris along the lakeshore should remain in place until water levels recedes to protect the shore from erosion.
