Like Christmas, Perth’s second Lego store is coming, and it’s opening at a shopping centre near you.
The toy brick giant’s parent company this week confirmed a new shop would open at Westfield Booragoon following the wildly successful first Lego-official store in Perth last year at Karrinyup Shopping Centre.
Booragoon’s store is set to open later this year — perfectly timed for Christmas shoppers — and promises one of the country’s widest selections of Lego sets, including hard-to-find editions.
And it won’t all be for the kids either, with the store to have an interactive storytelling table designed for adult fans that brings to life the stories behind the Lego brick sets available.
It shows early product designs and prototypes, lifts the lid on the development process and allows fans to virtually ‘meet’ the Lego designers.
“Western Australia has some of the country’s most loyal and passionate brick fans,” Alquemie Group’s managing director of licensed brands Matthew Robertson said.
The shop will be custom-built on the shopping centre’s ground floor.
