  • Videos show rep. Dan Crenshaw will be confronted by right-wing extremist activists at a GOP meeting in Texas on Saturday.

  • An activist can be heard calling Crenshaw a “globalist RINO” and “blinking McCain”.

  • Crenshaw took to Twitter to compare the activist to “angry little boys” who “can’t get boyfriends.”

Rep. Dan Crenshaw hit back at a far-right activist who confronted him at a GOP meeting in Texas last Saturday.

“That’s what happens when angry little boys like it [Alex Stein] do not grow up and can not get boyfriends …, “tweeted the congressman.

The right-wing activist on social media, Alex Stein, had shared a video on Twitter in which he confronted the Republican congressman and his staff while calling him a “globalist RINO”.

Stein can be heard calling the Texas congressman “McCain,” and the video ends with a clip of Fox News host Tucker Carlson calling Crenshaw by that name.

Carlson invented the nickname earlier this year in reference to Crenshaw’s support for US aid to Ukraine and compared him to the late Senator John McCain, a well-known war hawk.

Crenshaw, a former U.S. Navy SEALS officer, lost his right eye to an improvised explosive device while stationed in Afghanistan.

Another Twitter user also shared a video of himself confronting Crenshaw at the same event, calling him a “scam” and questioning his involvement in the World Economic Forum – a major target for online conspiracy theorists.

Mediaite reported that a witness said Stein and others were escorted out of the building and that “some arrests” were made.

“They became physical with several people, including beating them with cameras,” a witness told Mediaite. “His campaign manager was assaulted by being pushed aggressively into a pillar.”

Stein took to Twitter to deny the allegations that he had assaulted anyone, claiming that it was he who had been assaulted by “Dan Crenshaw’s private police force.”

He shared several videos and photos on Twitter showing the incident from a different angle, where he appears to be being held back as he tries to confront the congressman.

Crenshaw recently clashed with other conservatives after he voted for Ukraine’s aid, prompting him to say Republican arguments on the issue were “depressing” and “almost pro-Russia”.
