A weather forecast for the county released just before 7 p.m. Wednesday confirmed three tornadoes.

The first was seen at Manitou Beach/Watrous around 3:05 PM. A second was sighted at Margo at around 4:55pm and a third at Cymric at 5:25pm.

On Wednesday evening, damage was reported in the Foam Lake area, including to power lines and trees.

The federal weather service gave all three tornadoes a preliminary rating on the Enhanced Fujita scale — which rates the intensity of tornadoes based on the damage they cause — of EF0, its lowest rating.

Wednesday night saw weather warnings and watches in the central and southern parts of the province.
