The world’s top heavyweight is back in action, in a fight few people cry out for. Today Tyson Fury takes on Derek Chisora to put his WBC heavyweight title on the line.
It is the third time the couple has met. The first time, in 2011, Fury won an easy decision. The second fight, in 2014, was an even more dominant performance from The Gypsy King; who won by retirement.
With both men closing in on their 40s, it’s unlikely they have many more big fights ahead of them. Many onlookers will hope that Fury makes it through this fight without incident, as expected, and retains his title to set up an undisputed heavyweight clash between him and Olexandr Usyk. We’ll see if Chisora can play spoiler, though.
The event takes place in London, England and kicks off at noon ET. The main event is scheduled for 4pm ET. You can watch the fight on ESPN+ (US), BT Sport Box Office (UK) and TSN.ca (CA).
